Judging Others

Teaches No Judgement

Cultures throughout the world are made up of many different types of Christians and it is amazing how the world is still at war.  I am reminded of Luke 6:37 where Jesus specifically says to his disciples:

  • ' Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven

Although there are millions of Christians there are billions of people on the earth.  Those who are not Christian adhere to other religions that have many of the same teachings as the Bible does.  The Koran, the Bagivad Gita, and others teach their disciples to not judge others.

Evaluate Yourself

I encourage everyone in the world to do a personal evaluation of whether judgement is a part of daily living.  Is it healthy to judge a person by the way they look, the way they think, what they wear, what race they are, what religion they are, or whether they are male or female?

Judgement = War

History has shown us that wars are fought because of judgement.  The world is currently in a world war although no one really wants to label the Iraq war as a world war it is a world war.  Many different countries are fighting because they feel the need to judge and hostilely persuade a country and its people to think and act more 'civilized'.  Is creating change through war setting a good example?

Peaceful Change, No Blodshed

Gandhi was able to create change without going to war.  There are many leaders throughout history that have been able to assist positive change without reverting to blood shed.  Maybe our history classes should be devoted to those individuals rather than individuals who believed that war was the only way to invoke change.  What would our children be like as they grow into adulthood if they were taught of the awesome power great leaders like Gandhi had in changing ideals without reverting to war and bloodshed?

Demand A Political Game Change

Currently there are many individuals in the world who have the ability to motivate people to think only of peace and love.  Unfortunately these individuals currently would not be elected as leaders for often times they do not have the money to run for an office and do not agree with the rules of the campaign and political game.  The game is very deceitful and goes against every fiber of their being.

The populace is constantly looking for a leader to elect that will bring countries out of the despair that most of the worlds population lives in.  Is it possible that in the coming years more and more people will demand that the rules of the political game change so that individuals who are closer to the pulse of the community can run for office?  This is my hope and I believe it will happen soon.

Non Judgemental Peaceful Leaders

Our world will need more leaders who understand not only peace but in order to create peace there must be no judgement.  We each have too many things that we need to deal with in our personal everyday life before we go judging another person or another community or another country.  As my Grandmother always used to remind me, 'You must clean off your own doorstep before starting on someone else's.'  My Grandmother was a very wise woman who practiced this belief daily.

    Your are right that we had different culture around the world because of the different countries but the religion is very much the same but the world is in the war situation. It’s the best line that we should not judge other we also not be judged.
